Hi there! I’m Chellyn, architect by day, self taught artist by night. I live in Cottbus, Germany and was born in Berlin.
I’ve got a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Architecture and been navigating the architectural world in an office since 2019.
From crayons to canvases, painting has been my passion since day one.
Back in 2008, when I was just 14, I scored my first graphics tablet for my birthday, it was this chunky, square thing made of cheap plastic, but man, did it change my life — kickstarting my love affair with digital art. I taught myself Photoshop from scratch, relying solely on YouTube tutorials and later in university I even was the first in my class to bring it into my planning process.
But I didn’t just stick to digital screens — I also had a long blast painting with watercolors and acrylics.
When I’m not painting away, you’ll find me kicking it at Taekwondo (if I’m not stuck in one of my ‚meh‘ phases), rolling dice in my Dungeons and Dragons campaigns, binge-watching every good series under the sun, and being a cat mom to my two fur babies. I’ve also taken on tattooing, turning myself and friends into test subjects walking art projects.
